Pod casting and English
Pod casting is one method of up-loading voice data files through RSS and opening to the public. First, downloaded the data Then we can listen to the date file using personal computer and digital audio player that can preserve the audio file of the MP3 such as iPod.
We can listen to English class contents by downloading date files at our homes without going to school or English conversation school. Only you have personal computer. Moreover, we need not to buy CDs. Thus we can listen to the voice data which is taped class contents. In addition we put the date file in digital audio player such as iPod. Also we can listen to the date file even if we are in the place where the personal computer cannot be used. For instance, we are taking train and running park.
However, I think that there have weak points. First, we cannot talk with teacher and other students. Next, we cannot ask teacher questions if we want to. As a result I do not agree this teaching way.
Hi, Emiko.
This had a very good content.
You would have to polish your English, though.

Here we go…
> Pod casting is one method of up-loading voice data files through RSS and opening to the public.
Posted 5 years agouploading — ONLY?
through RSS –> then downloading?
Pod casting –> one word
Podccasting is a rather new Internet technlogy where one can upload texts or audio for the public. Then, Internet users can read or download the contents at any time. Additionally, RSS enables us to read the index of the Podcast sites via some sites or software, just like newspaper headlines.

> First, downloaded the data Then we can listen to the date file using personal computer and digital audio player that can preserve the audio file of the MP3 such as iPod.
Posted 5 years agoby downloading the contents on the Podcasting site on a personal computer, one can listen to the audio with or without texts. One can transfer and play audio files on such MP3 players as an iPod.
iPod –> an iPod, cf. a SONY, a Canon, etc.
> We can listen to English class contents by downloading date files at our homes without going to school or English conversation school.
Posted 5 years agoThis Podcasting gadget is a very useful means for us, learners of English, as we can practice and improve our listening skills, without goint to schoool or special English conversation school.
> Only you have personal computer.
Posted 5 years agoUse of ONLY – wrong here
> Moreover, we need not to buy CDs.
OK
> Thus we can listen to the voice data which is taped class contents.
voice data –> audio programs or contents
> In addition we put the date file in digital audio player such as iPod.
Posted 5 years agowe can put ==> transfer
we can
onto or on vs. in
player – missing a determiner?
iPod –> missing a dterminer or article
> Also we can listen to the date file even if we are in the place where the personal computer cannot be used.
Posted 5 years agoOnce we/you transfer the audio programs on local MP3 player, we/you can enjoy listening to these programs on the go, for instance, while commuting to and from school or offices, or even while jogging or running.
> For instance, we are taking train and running park.
> However, I think that there have weak points.
Posted 5 years agoweak points –> limitation
Podcasting is basically, however, one way communication.
> First, we cannot talk with teacher and other students.
Posted 5 years agowith a teacher and
> Next, we cannot ask teacher questions if we want to.
If Podcasting is adapted to English lessons or e-Learning, we would be limited as we can not ask a teacher questions when we want to ask.
> As a result I do not agree this teaching way
As a result — wrong use of this connective in this context
In short???
agree with vs agree
Posted 5 years agonot agree ===> too strong , this means ‘disagree’ 効用はなしという意見になりますよ。 You are entitled to your opinions, but ‘disagreeing’ is what you really meant?
We realize that Podcasting is a very useful tool for mobile audio listening, but it does not mean that it would replace a role of teachers and advisors entirely. It is simply a tool to compliment traning and education, and such an Internet tool as Podcasting should be used with this limitation in mind.
